Bird Watching at Bradlaugh Fields: The Barn on Bradlaugh Fields held a bird watching event on Saturday 2 December. The Barn used as a 'hide' to watch Bradlaugh Fields' garden birds, was ideal for those interested in local wildlife that wanted to learn more about Bradlaugh’s birds and bird watching.

Bradlaugh Fields Open Day: Bradlaugh Fields held an open day on Saturday 15 July in a bid to raise money to support park development. Let's Go Fly a Kite At Bradlaugh Fields: Colourful kites filled the sky at Bradlaugh Fields at an event, which took place on Saturday 3 June 2006. Those without kites were invited to The Barn to make their own and join in the outdoor fun.

Love Is In The Air At Bradlaugh Fields: Loveable activities were held at The Barn on Bradlaugh Fields in a bid to get 'loved up' ahead of Valentines Day. The event that took place on 12 February included tying love messages onto Bradlaugh's 'clootie' or wishing tree. Some believe for a wish to come true, a piece of cloth called a clootie is tied to a tree as the wish is made. Others took part by making heart shaped bird feeders and decorating the Art wall with their definition of love.
