Bradlaugh Fields has an acreage of one hundred. There are many different areas - hilly - muddy - some easier with many different views.

Whichever way you enter Bradlaugh you will see The Barn. It was attached to the Farm House until around 1923. Clues can be seen in the grass of the foundations and on the apex of the Barn where the roof of the house was. Near The Barn are two ponds one, The Chestnut, the other Lacks Garden Pond because it was the farm's garden.

The Banks Spinney is home to much wildlife. Further along is the remnants of an old dry stone wall. All this area holds much Historical interest and interesting walking. If you follow Holtons Lane to the top of Bradlaugh the view is remarkable. Find out the time by the Human Sun Dial. Just out of the gate you will see the Ancient Hedge and the Deer Leap which was the boundary of the kings Deer Park.

The Scrub Field is wonderful (managed by the Wild Life Trust) in the summer there are lots of wild flowers making their appearance, of particular interest is the Bee Orchid - a rarity in these parts.

As you walk back into the main part of Bradlaugh you will pass the Marsh Area and the Caddy Pond. The children can use the swings etc to loose any excess energy!!
